Hey folks! We seriously have to reconsider the lockdown of YDG. Why the shame? Embrace the love of Geo!
Anyway, sorry for the delay, I was really lacking inspiration. But I realized, all I needed to do was to spend some quality Youtube time and cocoon myself in Geo.
For your listening and viewing pleasure today is a not only a cover of perhaps my favorite Stevie Wonder song, but a duet between Geo and Ray Charles!
First, I think this duet would be much better served with less Ray and more Geo and I'm not sure that they are a great match together for a duet either, but it is still pretty lovely.
Of course, there's no actual video of this vocal genius stew, but of course we can always count on the ever crafty legions of Geo fans to put together their own video for the song. Surprise, it's a photo montage of Ray and George! Yup that's it, that's the video. Enjoy!

Wow! Excellent find. I LOVE this song. It becomes more and more apparent what a Stevie fan George is. Couldn't agree more.
As far as the lack of balance in this duet, you know Geo had to take a back seat to Ray Charles just to be deferential. Ray Charles is a legend and George is a mere god. He sings like a freaking angel on this song. He is especially soulful on the Stevie numbers. Must have been such an honor for George!
And JL, you are so right about unlocking the site. I just did it. It felt wrong when I was locking it yesterday. Let the sunshine in!

I must say again how much Geo material is out there -- how the heck did you find this Jen?!?
Ray and Geo -- not a likely pair, but boy do they make it work! I like how Ray (of course) takes the spotlight, with Geo in a more supporting role that only makes you appreciate the beauty of his voice MORE!
ALSO - I have to commend Jen with the lines she comes up with. "Cocooning" herself in Geo for inspiration?!? I love it!!!
Just when you think we have reached the end of the Geo treasure trove, up pops another gem. I honestly don't know how I found this, I just scrolled through all the Geo stuff in Youtube and clicked on videos I would have otherwise ignored.

I have to say, that I usually hate these photo montage videos on youtube, but this person really found some sexay pics of Geo, dontcha think?
