Ladies and Gentlemen

Drum roll please: I received the Geo tix in the mail yesterday! Can you believe it? Up until then, this was all just a crazy dream. Now it's a dream come true. A four-pack of Geo tix. Unreal.

So, in honor of our dream, I am posting a live version of I'm Your Man. This is a song that we will definitely be hearing and will likely be an encore. When Greg was doing his research on Geo set lists from the Euro tour, I believe this came up as one of the encores.

"A few initial thoughts" -- It works on so many levels for Geo - he made it back when he was "straight," but it really works as a gay empowerment song, too. That must be why we all love it so. Somehow, it always makes me feel better. It's those maniacal pop songs (you've heard me mention them here previously on YDG) they just pick me up. Just this morning, I was feeling so irritable because we were out of turkey bacon and we had to have soy sausage patties (you know, my life is so, so hard) And then on the way to work, I put on the live version of this and my cares just melted away. I think this must do the same for George. And when I picture us all at the concert, this song is what I think of. Can't you just picture Greg, shirtless, going crazy when George plays this song?

This may be my favorite song on the 25 Live setlist, and I cant put into words how good it makes me feel when i watch it!!! The best part about how hes singing this on tour -- with a ton of crowd interaction! How amazing is it when he lets the crowd sing: I DONT NEED YOU TO CAARE, I DONT NEED YOU TO UNDERSTAAND!!!

Listen People: I have no idea whether I'll be able to contain myself when this song is played. As Kitty said, the shirt will likely come off, and its very possible I just pass out.
