So, after yesterday's over the top clip, I decided to take us down a notch and bring us back to earth. This is what I would call a George Michael workhorse: Fast Love. You always go back to it. You always put it on your mix tapes, your workout mixes, etc. The production value on this one is among some of the best pop music out there -- very tight. I would say that this is during George's super gay phase, but if there's one thing YDG has taught me, is that all of his career is super gay. Enjoy!

You know, “workhorse” is a very apt description of this tour de force. It’s not an in your face pop song like “Outside,” but rather more subtle, drawing you in with the dance beats, saxophone, and the dulcet sounds of one of George’s best choruses ever. In fact, this was on my ipod as I traveled to work this morning.
I agree that the production value is top notch. I also love the premise, with George as the ringleader of all the erotic antics around him (again, more subtle than the Outside video). And how crazy was the androgeny at the 2:00 mark??? Had me fooled!
Now lets get down to fundamentals: I have to say that this look, illustrative of George’s super gay phase, is my personal favorite. Take a close look at how perfectly coiffed he is. I have had short hair for over a decade (by choice), and have never come close to that kind of perfection.
