As a threshold matter, I am intimidated by Kitty, The O, and John with your posts and commentary.
I was all set to post "I Can't Make You Love Me" and then I stumbled upon this gem. The controversial Lennon/McCartney ballad off of Let It Be which some say led to the break up of the Beatles. Here is Geo live at the Concert for Linda (McCartney). Strings, piano, and that voice. But wait, why is this video 9 minutes long? Oh yeah, because after he ripped your guts out and slip slided all over them to make you feel the pain, he takes it all away and goes into "Faith". A simple, beautiful medley, filled with hope even in the deepest despair. And super tight goatee. What else could you want? Seriously, what? NINE minutes folks, plan accordingly.

HOLY SHIT. Best YDG post to date. That was so deep and unexpected. He really does have the voice of an angel. What a totally heartfelt performace -- thinking of his mother and what the McCartney's were going through at that time. It really did bring tears to my eyes watching it. What a perfect choice of song.
And then brining us back with Faith -- cause when you're going through tough times, you do have to have faith. He is just the best. He took us down the long and winding road, but left us off at the end with smiles on our faces! Amazing.
And it really doesn't hurt that this is my favorite of his looks. I LOVE that Castro beard. It just rocks. I wish he'd go back to it.

HOLY SHIT IS RIGHT!!! Jen, you ROCK MY WORLD! What a choice!!! How incredible is the beginning?? He got a beatles-like ovation! He is so adored by the British public. And WHAT ABOUT THE KNICKERS??? If I saw him live, I have to admit I'd strongly consider throwing my calvin boxer briefs up there as well!
LAWR was incredibly beautful, but what about when he kicks into Faith??? He so all about crowd interaction. I cant wait for the show. I just cant wait.
